Come and See Weekend
February 5-7, 2010

“The Love of Christ urges us on” to radically respond to His call to follow Him wholeheartedly. Jesus is inviting you to spend some time with Him so that you may discover His call to the priesthood.

On February 5th to 7th, 2010, at St. Augustine's Seminary, there will be an opportunity for young men of 18 years or older to spend a weekend for time of prayer, reflection and information on the process of becoming Christ's disciple through the Catholic priesthood. If God is calling you, say yes...and Come and See.

All candidates must have a recommendation from their pastor. Deadline for registration is February 2nd, 2010.

Our Lady of Lourdes - In 1858, in a grotto, near Lourdes in southern France, Our Lady appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous, a young peasant girl. She revealed herself as the Immaculate Conception, asked that a chapel be built on the site of the vision, and told the girl to drink from a fountain in the grotto. When Bernadette dug at a spot designated by the apparition, a spring began to flow. The water from this still flowing spring has shown remarkable healing power, though it contains no curative property that science can identify. Lourdes has become the most famous modern shrine of Our Lady.
